Creative. Thinker.

As marketers, we are storytellers. We craft, design, position, communicate and most importantly, connect. As someone who is both left and right brain, I fell to be successful you have to bring together culture and commerce, artistic and strategic.

My journey started at HBO where I was a graphic designer working in the creative services department for 18 months before becoming an art director at Grey Entertainment. My time at Grey really shaped me and those influences are still felt today. I learned the importance of a forward-thinking account and strategy team, that marketers needed to reinvent themselves constantly, and most importantly, that the best managers will form a team, nurture them, and make sure they have room to shine.

As a co-founder and executive creative director of an entertainment-focused marketing and advertising agency, the left and right-brain combination became even more important as our small group founded and grew the agency to become a multi-million dollar company working with Showtime, History Channel, National Geographic Channel, AMC, Warner Bros. Distribution, Doubleday, Hachette, Disney Publishing, Crown, Scholastic, Special Olympics, New York City Center, New York Theatre Workshop, Playbill and Carnegie Hall to name a few. As a minority-owned company, I was proud to be a part of an organization where representation and diversity were a priority.

I have continued to combine strategic marketing with creative and branding at PlayCo, an Obie Award-wining off theater company; as a member of the leadership team of the South Street Seaport Museum where I oversaw all aspects of marketing, creative, branding, communications, and retail.

At Crossroads Live North America, I take pride in bringing the best of Broadway and the West End to all parts of the US and beyond. It’s full circle as so many of my first theater experiences were in Washington D.C. and Baltimore—home to some of the most wonderful touring houses around.

I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit that inhabits every role I take on. Arts, culture, live performances and entertainment are where my heart is. From opening nights to telling the history of our great city, it’s always been about connecting, finding commonalities building a community, and getting to the heart what matters.
